Actually Billy snagged them and said "I'll get those off of there. I've done it before" so I let him. It's not like him to tear stuff up though so I'd bet they didn't change from what was removed.
They cleaned up nicely with a ball of 00 steel wool. TrailBeast, that was easy compared to the pot metal the emblems are made out of.
