Changed intake gasket, now it won't start

curious to know what everyone uses the loosen the distributor hold down bolt? It's a tight fit for a 1/4 drive 1/2 socket on swivel knuckle and a really long extension.

it's a 1/2 inch - pecker to get at - but it can be done with a standard box wrench
