We have used the camping as a way of saving money so we are there for the whole weekend but it seems the law of supply and demand are working overtime.
In Carlisle I had heard 200.00 a night during the show now I don't know if that's true or not but even so it's a lot of money for a hotel room.
I agree with abodyjoe it seems the vendor spaces had a lot of unused spots this year. I never saw the big mass of people walking the vendor area like it was 4-5 years ago. I didn't walk the whole show field but the A-body and B-body's seem to be full I can't speak about the other areas.
The vendor spots have to be re-newed in October if you want to keep your same spaces. I have 7 spots @$90.00 a spot. Do the math, they get my money almost 8 months in advance. Only way to get a discount is to re-new your spaces at the end of the show! My friend has 7 spots and did not get there this year that's 1 reason why the back row looked empty.
