I agree with the point that @zkx14 made here...If I'm creating additional threads every 30 days to advertise the same part, when the part finally sells, there are multiple threads to be marked as sold.

Perhaps there is a better interval to use that would solve the problem described, without increasing the efforts to sell a used part...

While I agree that anyone selling much on here should cough up for Gold..., How bout letting non golds bump at say 3weeks. That would eliminate the need for repost, but not overwhelm the board with bumps and keeps the thread live for posting more than 30days. Or, maybe a little longer- 45day repost allowed with 60 day drop might serve the purpose better. But again, to me the Sold marker is far more important than if its on the front page. I have been lucky enough to get some newly posted items. More often though,I am using search and looking back at least a few months. I think most of the 'super deals' are gone on the first pass through anyway. It does help if sellers give a little more thought to there descriptions for them to be found with search.
