Can anyone tell me if there is a service or any way that you can check out to see if a car still exists which was a '69 swinger 340/4speed that I sold in the late 70's in Pennsylvania? I have an old vin.# THANK YOU!!!
 
go to your local DMV and try go get a plate for it
that will tell you real quickly if it is still on a PA road ;)
 
There are several services. They charge. Start by Goodling 'Car Registration Search by VIN'. Fair warning, they generally do not search the 'non-standard' VINs on classics.

Tell us a little about it. Maybe we have seen it. I am from PA.
 
Carfax and other consumer VIN lookups typically do not work on pre-1981 VIN numbers.
