New member from Raleigh, NC

Hello all!

New to the forums here and soon to be new owner of a '72 Plymouth Scamp, Slant 6. I am purchasing it from my mother's cousin, who has started a very nice restoration (He has been a body guy for about 35 years now, so he knows a thing or two)

So far it has undergone a professional body restoration complete with custom green pearl paint and has been undercoated as well. Bumpers have been professionally re-chromed to show quality. The interior is complete and about 90% restored with only the dash pad, steering column (paint) and headliner left for me to redo...and they don't look that bad. The front seat was replaced with identical seats out of a donor car and the back seat has been re-upholstered with period correct vinyl material. The carpet is all new and period correct as well. Under the hood, it is pretty original with new fuel pump, water pump, rebuilt carb, new radiator, hoses, belts and new alternator. Brake system is drums all around, but has been completely replaced (drums, shoes, lines, master cylinder). New tires and shocks along with a set of dog dish center caps round it out.

I take ownership of it in mid October, at which time I will be driving it from Pennsylvania back to it's new home in North Carolina.
