amd bumper delivered today any tips or tricks on installing it. Looks like a nice bumper
Almost forgot 70 duster Thanks Paul

Tape off the paint on your fenders at each end where the bumper might contact it while you are setting it into place. If I recall, the chrome on the backside of the bumper is a bit sketchy so I put some sort of sealer coat on there so it didn't rust- can't remember what the sealer was though. Use new bumper bolts, lock washers and nuts, and don't over tighten them. AMD bumpers do not have as thick of metal as factory bumpers. Try to be on a level surface for the final tightening. Keep a tape measure handy in case you need it. It's easy enough to do- you shouldn't have any problems.

Its a 2 person job, i cleaned and painted all the brackets then bolted them to the bumper. 2 people to slid it on the car install the bolts. snug the bolts then line it up and tighten.

Put the brackets on the bumper, have a buddy help hold one end and put the back bolts in loose. Swing the whole thing up into place and bolt the front loose. Adjust till your happy and tighten. Easy! -pauly

Thanks got it installed last night actually went fairly easy.
My wife helped and we're still speaking so it wasn't too bad of a job. Paul

Do not over tighten the bolts! They will recess the metal and crack the chrome. I remember putting my bumpers back on after rechroming and hearing the noises as the bolts were tightened. Enough to give you gray hairs LOL
