Any one use a Moroso 63565 electric water pump? For a small block mopar. As my buddy and I each have one. His only 60 runs on it, burned out. He is a electrician and had it wired in right. Mine will blow fuse when gets hot. Any one else have any troubles???

I've been running the Moroso electric pump on my bracket Demon for 11 years & had no problems with it. I have circuit breakers wired into all the electrical circuits on my command center. Have you contacted Moroso & asked if they can check them out? That would be my first plan of attack.

I ran one on my Demon that was a street car for thousands of miles for about 6 years and never had a problem.

Called them today. Waiting for a call back. Was passed to voice mail.

If yours is the belt driven motor the turns the factory water pump them most likely the belt is too tight and took the bearings out. They recommend that you run the belt loose(cogged belt) i can't remember what the spec's are in the instructions but when it's set to the instructions the belt will seam way to loose.

You have to remember, the electric motor is simply a blower motor like you would find in you heater/ac box. It's not meant to have a downward load on it!

I have had mine for over 10 years and the last 2 it has been making noise........Living on borrowed time i think.:D
