That's exactly when my wife and I got our carry permits. We had both just started selling real estate and a women was "set up"and attacked from the brokerage we worked. Our concealed carry instructor said the only time he pulled his concealed weapon was when he was a real estate agent. A vagrant was living in the house he was showing and came after him...until he pulled his weapon. Anytime my wife was working clients without me along, she would casually tell them she "protects" herself.
Without this thread ending up in N & P, just let me say I'm happy to see John and Jane Doe taking steps to protect themselves from riff raft.
