That is one sharp car, one of my favorite body styles !! Good luck with it!

Thanks, I'd rather is was a caged, 413 car, but I'll have to live with the Tower of Power. ;)

looks really cool. I was gonna call iot " distictive" but I can't spell that fancy!!!! ha the black look good on that body style.

Replaced both engine mounts which seriously improved the overall drive and feel.

Readjusted the fuel tank sending unit float so the fuel gauge is now accurate

Several more things on the "To Do" list, but we're finally enjoying it and cruising like we're cool. :)

THAT'S CLEAN,ENJOY!!!!.... (awesome gun teaching thread,B.T.W....).

I have an A/C thread here somewhere.

But I bought the kit from Nostalgic Air in Florida.

Much of it had to be modified and fabricated. It wasn't a bolt on affair.

Ya, It seams to be it most of the time. Any advice you can share I'll be working on a 62 wagon in the future .....

1. easiest Sanden compressor mount seems to be modifying an original Slant Six bracket from an original A/C A-body
2. remove the heater/box system from the firewall and fab a cover plate for the hole
3. install a pusher fan in front of the condenser behind the grill
4. install a combo Air/Heat under dash unit and use as big of a unit as possible. The one shown in my 4 door Lancer has marginal output on a 100 degree day.
5. swap the stock alternator for at least a 60w
6. do not overfill the system with refrigerant trying to increase the cooling efficiency - it will only create excessive head pressure

hope this helps

The Forum convinced me to go back to the old air filter system.
Spray bombed, color sanded, and buffed it.
