340 with a new cam grind

this is not a numbers game , its just a new process for the cam world . NO PARKERIZING . reground with more angle and domed crown lifters . these shots are of the cam after we ran it in and dial in the engine . pulled it and lifters to check the pattern . and a bubbles in the cooling system ,DSC07895.JPG DSC07895.JPG DSC07894.JPG DSC07890.JPG DSC07891.JPG DSC07892.JPG but back on the cam . look close and you can see the pattern running right down the middle of the lube of the cam , and just the center of the lifter is making contact . this reduces heat and wear on both items . also makes a much more rotating lifter , it spins like a top , on its center . instead of rubbing back and forth across the lube to make the lifter rotate . that why parkerizing was needed to hold the oil on the cam lube . and when it was gone the cam and lifter starts to get ate . low heat small amount of contact , easy on valve gear and spring don't get used up . this process can be done on most cam profiles . got questions ?
