K member swap

For what its worth I don't know , the a-body has plastic splash shields riveted to the frame rails, in the way. Had to drill out those rivets before the K would move forward.
I recall the weight of the power steering gear hanging on it made it much more difficult/awkward to handle. The truth is, for me anyway, after doing these things several different ways, still have never decided which was easiest. Just aint no "easy". I can't say which is less hard either. LOL Good luck
Oh and by the way, you might not fully unload those torsion bars at the adjust screws. You might not split the lower ball joints without destroying those boots either. Unbolt the lower ball joints from spindles is another option.
