360/380 crate motor oiling

The only way I've seen this on Magnum or LA motors, is when they've sat a few days. I deliberately let the car sit a couple days on my magnum powered Scamp(and previously owned LA powered cars) to do the oil change. That way when I remove the filter, it doesn't leak oil onto my headers.

Thanks for the feedback everyone ... yes, i'm not complaining about not having to clean up my headers! I did do this with the motor cold and sounds like this isn't too uncommon.

I removed the filter to inspect as I recently started the motor and had a lack of oil pressure momentarily upon startup. First time it happened and I started wondering if the antidrain on the filter had failed. That's why I decided to remove it. Then, when no oil leaked upon removing the filter, my mind started wondering if there wasn't some other anti drain valve or if I don't have another issue in the oiling system or a bigger problem internally. If no debris in the filter, gonna put the new one on and see what happens.
