1970 A833 output shaft length

I thought about it too but from my past experiences building cars and upgrading them, takign them to the track etc, II find it's better to do the thing right, once, rather than going 2-3 intermediate steps, especially for the wallet ahah.

As I managed to measure and confirm the length, I've had one made by Dynotech in Clawson MI with 1350 joints, 30 spline yoke and 3" diameter. picking it up tomorrow morning :)

I have 2 drive shafts. one from 1972 dart , 318, 727 it is 48" from center of u joint to center of u joint . yoke is 7"
the other is from in A body with A833 but long tailstock. it measures 44.5" center to center of u joints. Also has 7" long yoke.
So I'm wondering that if you know the center to center length you may just need a standard 7" yoke unless the short tail tranny uses a different yoke?
