I'm still pretty new around here and figuring things out. It seems like there's quite a bit of discussion about fitment issues with headers. Do you know what sort of issues would I run into with these on a '65 with a 273?

Look in the early a forum, I believe these will fit without issues ( no power steering ). These are a knock off of the spitfires. There use to be some stickys on the headers.

I have Spitfires on my car, and other than not being able to use them with a 4 speed, and maybe not with power steering! My car is manual steering and automatic, and they fit with no problems! You have to clock the oil filter adapter to play with the headers, that's about it!!

Hmm not sure why you can't run these with a 4 speed. I did for a couple years before I put a 727 in my 65, didn't have any interference issues. However mine were spitfire headers, maybe the Layson's are a little different?

Says right on the Laysons site they work fine with 4 speed cars. I swear, some of yall wouldn't pass a downs syndrome test.

Good luck in your sale. I'm going to pass for now because I'm not ready to throw out my power steering.
