I have the complete engine from Air cleaner to oil pan. Standard bore. The Car was in the Detroit Area until 7 years ago. A TX9 Black 72' 340 Duster with white stripes and interior. This car was bought from Bob Pecks Show and Go in Farmington Hills, Mich. The owner passed away during the cars engine make over. Trans was freshly rebuilt also. The widow sold the roller. Trans is a 727 Automatic trans not matching to the engine. The Cars SPD was Nov. 23 71. The casting date on the engine is 6/15/71. Steel crank. The heads are 4027569 later 77 on up 360 heads 1.88 intake valves. The widow still has the build sheet and it is in good condition and all there. Original Intake and Thermo quad. I will sell all the drivetrain for $1600. Engine is in Livonia, Michigan.

If thats the last few digits from the VIN, then that engine is out of my car. Unfortunatly finances would not allow me to purchase it. I would however like to make some kind of deal to purchase the build sheet, if you would sell it to me. Let me know what proof you need that it belongs to my car and I'll get it to you.

Hell If that is your motor and build sheet, I think at least the guy should give you the build sheet. Too bad you cant buy the block, I wish I could fine my original tranny. If I could I would find away to buy it.

    I'd love to buy the engine, but by the time I convert my Canadian buck, into US dollars, I'm going to be north of $2k. Just can't afford that. My Duster has a 1970- 340 Engine in it now that has been rebuilt to a very high level. I can send this guy pictures of my car the serial tag and a copy of the ownership in my name and it also has the vin on it. I would really like to have the build sheet and am willing to pay for it if nessasary.
 
Maybe offer to swap the blocks? Be a shame not to reunite them.
