So while talking to a long time friend, he mentions he has a ”halloween special" package dodge demon. Its hemi orange with a black vinyl top with orange and black interior. Is this a legit package or just a random interior choice by a buyer or ma Mopar? Never have seen one like it or heard of one either.... He is very knowledgeable about Mopar stuff and often does ground up restorations. I'm just wondering if he is calling it that or that was a legitimate option for a new demon

I don't believe it was a real package, just something cool that someone ordered.

I'd like to see pictures of it if you could get some, mostly because I like looking at demons

Why not? There's a saint paddies day duster out there aswell

I doubt it was a factory sponsored package. But it could easily have been a package or a promotion that a dealer put together.

I know the topic has come up before, maybe I can find the old thread.

That's simply what some people call it. The color combo is legit.

Here's a couple threads on orange/black demons and dusters. The Halloween reference came up a few times, but they were colors that were available as regular options. So, it's not a factory Halloween option package, just an orange and black interior option. But I'd be willing to bet there were probably a few dealers that might have advertised an orange and black car like that.

Ever see a BLACK/ORANGE 71 340 Duster??

I like the granny green editions complete with gator green top, and the smell of moth balls in the interior.

Mine is that minus the vinyl, add rust and primer from the previous owner's attempt at fixing rust. I added the mouth ball smell because it was better than the wet carpet smell

I have a Red '74 Dart Sport 360 4 speed car that was built on Feb 14th, 1974 so i guess it's a Valentine's day car.
That should make it double in price!

I remember back in the late 1980s, my mopar friends and i would look in the local car for sale paper called "The Want Ad Press" we were looking specifically for performance cars. Whenever we saw a charger, challenger, cuda etc listed in good shape etc, but listed really cheap, we took bets before we called the ad as to weather or not it had that awful dark metallic green interior. LOL!!

That must have been really popular back then. I always thought it was awful. Now the bronze or blue interiors i thought looked really good. I always went for black.
