Looking for some pictures of road course A-body's actually racing and sitting still (like pit shots and breakdown shots. I prefer the 64-66 cars but would like to see what you have.
Thanks,
Joe

I have some cool photos for you but I still cannot upload any .gif or .jpg files. I get an error message every time I try it. Sorry.

The 130-mph Hyper-Pak-equipped Valiants beat the pants off Falcon and Corvair in 1960 at Daytona. The winning Valiant averaged 122+.

Not sure if this counts as road racing, but it's a Mopar!! This was at ZMax Dragway last month.

I want to thank everyone for sharing. Not many people in my circles see these cars as road racers and I love the look. Here in New England the a bodies are only cool if you have a big block and running the quarter mile. Okay - again only in my circles.
I know there are people who see them as track cars. I want to build a road course car look alike next and getting ideas from these pictures on a final look is awesome.

I used to watch "Fast and Loud" with Gas Monkey Garage before they turned more about Mr. Rawlings antics and less about the cars. When his side -kick Aaron built the Galaxy for the Pikes Peak hill climb... I loved the look of the larger road tires and the modified dropped body. Achieving that look with an A-body would be easy as long as you keep that 1960's feel. The A-body or any old MoPar if modernized too much can easily loose its cool-appeal.

Also, does anyone have pictures of road race a-bodies from over seas racing? Road course racing for this cars did exist over seas... right? To see European races with an a-body would just be wicked.

Anyone with more pics please post them! These are awesome. To everyone who has posted - Thank you!
Joe

In Europa they attended the Rallye Monte Carlo (Pictures above) with Valiants and Barracudas.
In Sweden - where many Valiants lived - You can see them at local Rallyes.

Chrysler France dominated the road courses in the early seventies with Hemi Cudas:
