Long Island Cruizin' For A Cure -- September 18, 2016
Some longtime members here will remember FASTBACK340, John Agugliaro, from Long Island. One of his favorite shows was Cruizin' For A Cure.
A couple weeks ago, I saw a post on FaceBook from his widow Amy indicating she has decided to continue showing his '69 Barracuda he affectionately named The Mistress!! She mentioned not feeling "right" about taking it to his favorite event in his absence, and I think I kinda talked her into it.
I donated two PSC $100 Gift Certificates to the event organizers in loving memory of John.
If any of you Long Islanders can attend the event, it would be fantastic and would let John's lady know that we haven't forgotten or abandoned her. A big FABO contingent would be awesome and I wish I could go too but it's too far away.
