Some longtime members here will remember FASTBACK340, John Agugliaro, from Long Island. One of his favorite shows was Cruizin' For A Cure.

A couple weeks ago, I saw a post on FaceBook from his widow Amy indicating she has decided to continue showing his '69 Barracuda he affectionately named The Mistress!! She mentioned not feeling "right" about taking it to his favorite event in his absence, and I think I kinda talked her into it.

I donated two PSC $100 Gift Certificates to the event organizers in loving memory of John.

If any of you Long Islanders can attend the event, it would be fantastic and would let John's lady know that we haven't forgotten or abandoned her. A big FABO contingent would be awesome and I wish I could go too but it's too far away.

Here's a link to the event page. Long Island Cruizin' For A Cure. (I see there's also a Donate tab for those affected by cancer who may be inclined.)
Thanks for taking a moment to read this. If you decide to go, thanks for that too, and be safe out there!!!

Here's an older pic of John's Barracuda. Always 1 of my favorite cars here. Love the color....

I remember John. He was one of the good guys for sure. I hope there is a good turnout. Kind of you to post this here, Leanna.

Thanks for posting this up LeAnna.

I got to hang out with Nohn a few times. He was a lot of fun! For sure! A Goodfella! I'll be glad to see Amy.

I think it's tomorrow Rob. Hope you can go -- that commute would kill me even with my fast hot rod. << wink >>
Thanks for the bump Mirada!!

Oh good! My head is still swimming from last nights shift. I thought I missed church today!
It was a very long night. Many broken parts!

OK, I made it, very late. I can not seem to get off the overnight schedule sometimes.
A shout out to Amy, so sorry I missed you! I was so hoping to meet again and grab a few shots of Johns car. I was told you showed up and I arrived very late. Perhaops, next time!?!?!

For everyone else, here are some shots.

Thanks to this nice fella, he OK'd todays shot. Step up and claim your ride!
Very nice car close up kids, very nice car indeed.

Not all were finished... but they were still just a little bad ***...
Why is everyone staring and peaking hard? Yep, you know it...
6bbl.'s of adjusting your attitude. Or theres.

The Beauty of this is the manual trans. Gotta love rowing your own boat.
I think I gotta hang with this guy.

OK, this reminded me of Rusty Rat Rod. OK, NOT a Bobcat....but still a small Ford packing a V8 and a manual trans.
And below that, (the Tri Five) who said you can't run a tunnel ram dual quad on the street. Only the body and paint remain on this on. (OK, somedetailwork....) The interior was sweet.

And a small host of "Other" cars from old to an era most wouldn't think about. Like the Bonniville for sale behind the converter Chevy II.
Very sorry to say, I missed a bunch of fine vehicles.
Next cruise in here, I'll make sure I get a few more shots of the couple of thousands of cars in this type of event.
