All right party people, some of you participated in my 50th class reunion poll last year-that was fun. This is no poll however.
Tomorrow morning 9/9/16 when I wake up it will be the 50th anniversary of my wedding to my bride. Church wedding took place 9/9/66 and two children, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and 50 years later we are still going strong. A little arthritis and a little less stamina on both our parts but I still like building cars and she still likes riding in them with me:) How about that! When we married, there were no computers/internet/cell phones or gopro drones. Gas was $0.25 a gallon and we raced our cars on a measured 1/4 mile north of town and the cops know about it and stayed away. Anyway, just want to let you all know that I hit the trifecta 50 years ago. Married a woman who can still fit into her wedding dress, likes old fast cars and makes me smile every day of my life.
Cheers to all-----------------DR----------------:)

Congrats DeserRat from someone that was celebrating his first birthday the day you were married. Hope you have many more.

Day late, but happy 50th! That is quite an accomplishment in so many ways. Congratulations. You're on your way to the 75th now!
