I have had Haggerty on my Barracuda for 10 years insured for 14,500$ agreed value 200$ a year [in 2015],covers towing and parts and tools too, i can only drive a total of 5000 miles a year split between shows/cruising and parades [i did 4500/500] must be in a locked garage [no appraisal needed below a certain value] just photos of vehicle and garage. I tried State Farm [my regular auto policy's are with them] they wanted an appraisal,photos yada yada yada, i went with whom i have now. I only use my car for cruise ins and shows i do not ever just take it out for a spin on Sundays if i need gas i get it on my way to a show. I'm very careful to lock it and disconnect battery when its parked in my shop and it's always covered. Insurance company's don't like giving money away so i am very precise on following their rules.
