But where are the butt joints? Are they within the cage or outside of the cage? I know they are legal but I thought they were not legal within the cage. For instance you couldnt splice an A-pillar bar/door bar/ dash bar etc. But you could splice a forward strut bar, rear strut bars or anything outside of the actual cage.
