How long have you owned your A-Body??

-
That's a great question and I find the answer surprises me when realizing how long its been LOL. Rescued in 1997 > 2015 = 18 Years! The vast majority of that time was spent chasing/collecting parts, paint & body, etc. Tearing up the road 3 years now.

Its been a long time since I saw the stripes on a demon in the correct location.Yours look to be spot on. Very Nice!

Everyone I see the stripe extends under the fuel opening . Yours are dead even with the bottom of the opening. That is where it belongs. The pic I added is also and original paint and stripe and gas cap Demon

3 years with this Demon, but i've had MOPARS since 79'

Right now 47.5 years. Bought it from the original owner when it was 1.5 years old. My first car. Got it when I was 19. Have the build sheet and the Chrysler historical documentation that shows it was purchased from Mr. Norm.

First one was a 65 Barracuda 273 4spd. Wrecked it bad/totaled at age 16 in 1972. Have had many other Mopars since then. Had this 70 Swinger in the late 70's. Right now I'm restoring a 68 H code 383 GTS Dart.

14 years this month, and still not done with it. Picture is from the day I bought it.

11 years since I drove it 50 miles home in a thunderstorm. Put about another hundred miles on it before I pulled it apart, and didn't get to drive it again for another 8 years.

Almost 7 years. When I was dating my wife in 2001 I had a 72' Charger. When she graduated college and got commisioned into the Navy I had to choose between my Mopar and following her around the World. She promised she would get me another Mopar one day. In 2009 she did! It was my daily driver for several years and is now my hobby car I enjoy with the kids.

32 years of which 25 it sat unloved but often thought of. Last 2 years after restoration have been the best!

Since September 2007 for me... sat for maybe 2 years total since then, all the rest I've been driving the heck out of my 1970 Duster. It was my first car at 16 years old and I don't plan to ever sell it except in the most extreme circumstances.

Just completed my 3rd summer working on her. So logic would say 3 years.....but like most of you.....they feel like "Dog Years".....so I say 21 years! :)

I salvaged her from a scrap yard in 1994, took two years to get the title, and immediately had it transferred to my name. Now by March of 2016 she'll be finished, as per my wife!!!!
Finished her up March 15 2016, just in time to bring my new born son home.
