1965 Plymouth Barracuda - 318 MAGNUM V8
Holy crap it's been nearly a year since I've posted here!? Well... Not much if anything has happened since till the beginning of this month! She's been to a few car shows and it's been real fun! My reverse progressively began to go until one day last month it quit. Still had all gears in drive. I actually was thinking of throwing the magnum in my other '65 blue Barracuda since this 273 was performing so well, guess the trans was saying otherwise. So I pulled the drive train, took the trans to get rebuilt, got it back, now didn't have 1st and still no reverse............... Tried multiple things with the valve body, no go, pulled it out last week in a record 3 hours and this time it didn't fall on my gut and nearly put me in the hospital like the last time when I only removed the transmission from my brother's '65 Valiant's 318 Magnum to replace the front pump seal. So I took it back to my trans guy along with a newer 904 out of a '74 Plymouth Roadrunner, he's gonna throw the new guts from the old crap 904 into the newer 904. Also got a B&M ratchet shifter on its way, done with cables. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week, get it back in and start ripping around corners with this Magnum Swap!!
