Which carb gasket for Carter BBD?
So going to rebuild the rebuild as the bowl gasket has failed. So I revisit the question as to which gasket should I use for manifold to carb. Reminder, the manifold has the 2 round holes, the carb also has the 2 round holes. The gaskets are 3, 2 are thin, 1 is pretty thick. 1 has the 2 hole cutout, the other 2 are the long single hole. I seem to recall a discussion about the reason you want to have the spacer in there to raise the Carb up? Maybe something about gas vapors? ideas?
