Indy does it again?

A year ago my buddy and myself made a choice of buying 360 Indy T/A HEAD kit Part #1-E-H1-1K. which is a full top end kit complete. We got the full CNC port job as well. I got 1.5 rockers and he got 1.6 rockers same everything else. His motor was put together and running before mine. So he found the trouble before I got mine together. Nine of his push rods the ends that go into the lifter were coming loose and splitting the tubes. One hammered the adjuster out of the rocker arm. So when I checked my parts before assembly four of mine were loose. I then checked the rocker hole size which is .342 ID on average and the adjuster studs range from .360 OD to .369 OD some of the interference was only .017 on the new adjusters. We ordered Smith bros push rods and adjusters {which measure .370 O.D.} for both of our motors.

As for Indy service {Talked with Russ, didn't even want to hear what I had to say} or any help from The Block Shop in Edmonton where we bought the parts. No help for parts was given. We paid $10,942.37 after dollar exchange shipping etc. and even $200 was put on my master card for using my master card with The Block Shop. I thought that was a nice touch. Here are some pictures of the Indy push rods and the rocker that was damaged. We got it good. But I hope no more people get this treatment after reading this and seeing the pictures. Just don't get the push rods. The heads make power as both of our cars run in the low 11's with ease. so it is not all bad. I have 2 sets of these heads and work fine for my application.
