Hello Everyone!

My name is Jaymie and I'm from Las Vegas NV. I just purchased a 1962 dodge lancer. I came across this forum and saw how helpful everyone was and joined up to say hi and of course ask for help with "Lacey" (my car)! Nice to meet you all :)

WELCOME, and yes....the folks on this site are extremely helpful. Just be sure and give as much info about your car when you ask a question ie, engine size, stock or modified engine, transmission type, rear end and anything that will help other members give you a good answer to your question. Pics are also a great help when you have a specific question about a part or area of your car.
"Lacey" seems to be in very nice shape for her age...very nice.

I've been to Vegas a few times and I always love going to Fremont Street for the "overhead" light show!!!

Thank you! I hope i did well...it needs a motor and a lot of TLC but its all original and untouched! Its my first car :)

Hello! And yes i will do that for sure...i have the original BOS..with all the cars info on it so i will be sure to do that. Thank you for the tip! And yes Vegas is awesome...hoping with all the nice weather we have it will help
with being able to work on Lacey more!
 
Welcome Jamie, I'm from Vegas as well. Except it is K-Vegas. Aka Kernersville, North Carolina. Not sure why they call it K-Vegas. I've asked several people and the best answer is that it sounds cooler than Kernersville.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here with all the good info and helped I've received from all of you, I have good news to report.....LACEY LIVES!!! I purchased a motor and pulled the old one out and swapped this one in and it started right up!!! Now its has an oil pump leak which i hear is a PITA to change but i dont care...Just happy she is running now! Thank You everybody :)

Thank you! You all have been so helpful! :) Just curious since we are both here in Vegas...Do you have a local place you use for MOPAR parts? I use the big 3 now (AZ,PB,NAPA,etc) but if just wanted to know if you have anyone that specializes in MOPAR specifically?
