Good choice for balancer?

Larry Shepard recommend the Fluidamper harmonic balancer, but $500.00...YIKES! Can any recommend a little more economical performance balancer (stock pulleys and V-belts) that will stand up to an occasional flogging and 3-400HP?

There is a REASON why Chrysler picked that dampener. More than anyone else, Chrysler understood the limits of elastomer style dampers.

The only real value they have is they are cheaper to manufacture. And most people who have the capabilities to produce racing engines rework the ATI stuff. What you get isn't what "other" people get.
