hello all, I lost my rear running lights and my tach/gauge lights.
headlights, turn signals, and brake lights work, so does the dome light.
put all new fuses in fuse panel as well and they still won't work, any ideas?

Sounds like the headlight switch or the power supply to it.
IIRC all the things you say are out are always powered off the main supply into the cabin, so it almost has to be the headlight switch or the power to it.

I'd start by pulling the switch and testing it with a test light.

thanks, I'll check the power coming in, if that's ok I'll pull the switch

well I replaced the headlight switch, still no running lights or side marker lights

Check the connection under the left (driver) kick panel, and check the wire all the way back. It's possible it shorted out somewhere.

Any blown fuses?

There is 1 fuse that doesn't have power on either end until the headlight switch is pulled to the park lamp position. Re check power to a going through that fuse. A rusty fuse clip, a fuse burned open behind its end cap where it cant be seen, are just examples from similar threads. There are also cases where the fuse blows as soon as the switch is pulled. That's a short that could be in a lot of different places and very difficult to find. In that case I'll start with any clues, like aftermarket juke box wiring.
