Today's score and the story that goes with it.

Today my best friend (best man in each others weddings) came over and had some boxes of parts along with a large tin from the 60's. The tin was an old cracker tin. He explained his father in law use to work in the railroad that delivered parts to the Chrysler Windsor Assembly plants. During his time in 1974-77 he was instructed to pickup the small parts all around the railcars and tracks and make sure it stays clean. Anything he found was tossed into this bucket.

Well this past week he found this bucket and knew I was a motor head for Mopars and sent it over. The bottom of the bucket has 1/2" of oil and was sealed for 40+ years. Below are the items that were in the tin. All have been cleaned with Dove soap and wiped down.

I know what a lot of the stuff in but if you see a certain knob or anything, feel free to post. These parts all came from Dart/Valiant, Cordoba and Charger from 1974-1977.

So how's it all look? Chrome is perfect on these parts. Never seen anything like it.

ALL that in a cracker can? Good story. Doesn't say much for assembly though if all that stuff fell off before it got delivered.
