rust proofing door pinch seams advice. (late model)

Any expert body advice for rust proofing the door pinch seams on a late model vehicle? I cant help notice almost every Daimler era chrysler has problems with the pinch seams on the lower doors. jeeps, rams, etc.

Most have little ports to let water out, but what else can we do? I want to replace my doors with new (rust free used) from a southern jeep. (Liberty) but before I do... do I spray wd40 up in the holes monthly? Do I line-x the pinch seams before they go on? Do I drill extra holes? this is a major problem on numerous vehicles...door pinch seams just rot (at least in the rust belt and at least on my diamler era Chrysler) I am open to pouring a can of rustoleum in the thing if it'll help lol. any tips before I put rust free doors on it and they are junk in 5 years?

Thanks all
