LCA Pivot Shaft removal

Well shoot, if you have a press get a rod that will go through the torsion bar seat and press it out. The rubber will pull away from the outer shell and the pivot will come out with the inner sleeve still attached. The rubber will pull out in a few chunks as it is not attached to the outer shell. To get the inner sleeve off of the pivot shaft, get a hammer and hammer it on a vise 90* apart. The sleeve is softer than the pivot and will stretch and slide right off the pivot.
