I finally got around to pulling the slant six and (hopefully) throwing in the performance 383 I've painted and updated with an Edelbrock, etc... My question is this: Do you know if the front face plate comes off? I already pulled the hood, radiator, loosened every bolt I can see, but no dice. I want to pull the engine with the trans out the front once that is out. Thanks, Gary.
