Watching V-tv. and Dave Kindig is on. Really like the work he does and his style however Chip Foose is a stand up guy but think his style is getting a little dated. What's you thoughts?

I too watch and i respect both men and both build great cars but i like Kindig cars better each is different with small signature touches. But none hold a candle to Troy Trepanier [Rad Rides By Troy] his creations are second to none. Check out his website, we [viewers] were introduced to his creations years ago on a show on Discovery called Rides and everything he builds is just jaw dropping top notch, he is a multi award winner and magazine articles a plenty Home - Rad Rides by Troy

I never liked Foose the Butcher.

I like Kindig a lot!

I like Foose builds a lot but they are becoming a little "dated". Kindig would be my choice right now but Troy Trepineir is top notch also. I wouldn't turn down any of the 3 as a builder.

Generally prefer Foose, although I doubt his "tucked" bumpers would help in any kind of parking lot bump!
A sure formula for Chipped paint!
As far as "dated" goes, most of the shows are at least 3 years old, whereas Kindig is still making new shows.
Now I don't know which sidekick is more annoying, do you prefer your ears inside or outside the black baseball cap?

I like both builders, they are strong in different areas. Chip is classically trained and Dave is self taught. But I also like fantomworks, gas monkey and graveyard cars. Understanding the clown show on all of them is the producers trying to make it interesting helps. Sometimes they irritate me so bad I shut them off. Gas monkey sold a 27 T kit car to a couple stoners that was hilarious!

Never heard of Kindig, but I've never been a Foose fan.

Don't know how those guys can stand to wear their cap over their ears...besides it looks goofy to me.

A lot about them all I don't get. I think it's generational for me. It's hell being a dinosaur! Puzzle me this my friends, on what planet is it a good marketing strategy to try to sell an old-school senior citizen Medicare supplemental insurance wearing an eyebrow stud an a still healing tat that shows on her upper breast???? I mean REALLY, WTF---------yes, true story-going back just to see the rest of the tat----:)

Now this is going to date me however, I remember the first time I saw a Trepanier car. It was at a Car Craft Nationals in Springfield. Pulls up in a yellow Pro Street Monza. First time many had seen anything like that. Made such an impression, remember it like it was yesterday. Think of the impact he has had on the car hobby after that.

Ring Bros.

IMO they have the highest level of detail, on their builds. Yea there Chevy/Ford guys, but they make custom parts for B and E bodies, so they can't be all bad.

Kindig by far..Foose paints just about everything 3-tone and puts those big bling bling wheels on everything..never liked them on old musclecars..

agreed: hate foose wheels, they make almost everything they put them on look stupid .

All 3 have the talent. hate the big rim wheels. Should do a classic with the stock wheels. Just to see how good the car would look. That Kevin on Bitchin rides is a total jerk off. Almost another Mark Worman.

I cannot abide slammed American cars, wheels over 15" or jewleried up dudes with hats below their eyebrows. (Or backward)

I like both. Foose refurbishes with small changes where as Kindig reconstructs . I would love to have a small part of their talent . I do agree I don't like big wheels , they belong on ricers.
