Hi there,

i am looking for an OEM rear sump oil pan for my 2015 6.4.
Unfortunately, the donor vehicle i had in mind (Cherokee SRT 6.4) has a front sump too.
Idk where i but i once saw a OEM rear sump oil pan that idk if it would fit a 6.4 as well.
Can anyone school me on what parts could be used?

Thanks.
Alex

I've read that the blocks are the same for all Gen 3 hemi's. If so the Dodge Ram hemi oil pan will work.

The Ram oil pan is steel, i would prefer aluminum if possible.
You might have to make one then. I can't think of a rear sump pan that's aluminum. Even the swap pans are made of steel.

If you want a ram pan complete with pickup and such I have one. It has some bottom damage...however you could use your pan up and use the mounting surface and build a new aluminum one.

One thing to keep in mind, The main bearing caps are torque to yield so when you swap the pickup tube for the rear sump ones you need to install two new bolts

Good info! Thank you.
I am looking into 6.1 Cherokee oil pans at the moment... i think it would fit.

The one I got from the wreckers 2005 Cherokee is cast aluminum rear sump.Paid 150$ Canadian inc.shipping and pick up tube. pm me if you would like a pic.

yep, they make them in cast alum. my friend has one on his

I have one of those as well, they are very deep, so you will probably have to modify it for a car application:
