I bought mine and was happy to do it. I also pay $20.00 a quart for oil. If you can't afford it, don't do it. But it isn't stupid if you can afford it.

$20 a quart for oil IS stupid. Bar none!
$20 a quart of a very particular special oil is very different.
If you think/know your engine is that kind it f special, then enjoy!
