Gotcha! My initial thought would be to lower the center divider slightly. There have been numerous articles written over the years showing it adds a little bit of power. And equalizes the two sides. Or..I see the skinny edelbrock plate posted above which would effectively do the same thing. That would be the easiest way to make sure you weren't only pulling from one bank.
