Raised with Mopar blood.

Very long story short, I recently aquired the 1974 Dart Sport my father and I had restored before he passed away in 2002.

It had been parked and sat for the last 15 years in my mothers garage, she didn't want it to move.

I have gone through the normal routine of a car that has been sitting; in order

Drained and replaced gas / oil / water,
New plugs,
New optima battery,
New starter.

Finally got the engine cranking and turning over strong, but no spark.

Tested the coil, got good ohm readings. I don't think the coil is getting power.

Distributor was brand new and ran before parked, looks clean, plug wires new basically as well.

Need to check continuity from leads and am looking for information on the ignition system, like a troubleshooting guide/wiring diagram.

I am pulling on stuff my dad taught me 20 years ago in highschool... and what i can on google.

Really excited about finding an active forum dedicated to A-bodies.

I have been on Subaru discussion boards for a long time, same screen name. Drive a Subaru WRX, have 4 Subarus in my driveway... compared to those working on the Dart is a dream, even though the starter was trapped behind the long tube headers and had to drop the exaust manifold and drain the antifreeze, was still easier than just a spark plug change on the WRX.

Appreciate all the information available here!20161019_213620.jpg
