Hey folks I have always loved the Mopar designs. Had a chance to get one. Later this week I'll be getting my first Mopar. A 1970 Dart Swinger in B5 blue. Originally a 318 auto car the previous owner dropped a 360 block bored .30 over and did the 4 speed A833 conversion. 3.91 rear gear. I can't wait to get it. I'll post some pictures then. I will need your guys guidance and advice on several issues. The first of which is that the car has the original bench seat and at 6'1 I have no leg room with the seat all the way back. How can I move it back about 4 or 5 inches.

Sounds awesome. Welcome. Send pictures when you can. We love to see each others projects

:welcome: to the fray - sounds like a nice car! we like pics! if you move that seat back that much, there'll no rear passenger room.. you'll find yourself getting into all kinds of other modifications to make it work... not impossible, but certainly a can of worms..

Welcome from 100 miles down I-90 East! I'm also 6'1 with a bench and 4 speed, I don't have the seat too far back, just enough to grab the ball in all 4 gears and slightly leaning forward to reach, I wear that clip on the lap belt style shoulder belt too and like to keep it slightly taught. Perfectly fine for me driving.

I'm not worried about carrying any passengers. Do you think I may be better off putting aftermarket bucket seats in?

Maybe I'd be better off switching to a bucket seat? Your thoughts?

Congrats on the WS win for your team. Maybe next year for us. I think I'm gonna keep my stock bench seat and get some relocation brackets to move it back 2 inches.

Finally got some pics taken yesterday.
