904 trans what convertor

one more question what size 10or11 inch and what stall in a 70 challenger 318 with 904/ thanks
Making the assumption the engine is stock, no need to go to anything other than a stock converter. It will be an 11" converter. There are two 11" converters for this application from the factory, a low stall and a high stall. Get the factory higher stall (about 200-300rpm) over the factory low stall.
sorry about all the questions my convertor guy says he can get around 3000 max stall out of my stock convertor is that enough for the 340 202 head 525 solid cam stock 340 short block dual plane intake 750 holley dp carb ,fender well headers, 410 gear to get the 63 dart into the 12s ?[/QUOT
