Timing changed after Cap + rotor swap?!

I can't believe Crackedback has had to explain this twice (or more), and so has Trailbeast.
THE ROTOR AND CAP DOES NOT SET THE TIMING!
The reluctor position relative to the pickup sets the timing, and centrifugal + vacuum advance add to the timing by moving their relative positions.
There are very few possibilities and they are: 1) distributor body moved despite the clamp being tight; 2) if you rewired things you may have reversed the pickup leads; 3) the vacuum or centrifugal advance system is sticking.
