Timing changed after Cap + rotor swap?!

Now that I think about , RRR and crackedback are correct. You can move the cap all around and the timing won't change the timing, but will move the rotor out of phase.

AKA too far from it intended contact to jump. :D
A good hot spark will start jumping to the next terminal instead and really make the engine flip.
