1972 Duster Build

cool, yep, I'm debating the seats from summit racing that look like stock ones, how hard is it to do the mounts
Was it originally a bench? If so, you'll need to weld in some square reinforcing plates like the original bucket seat cars had in them. If you get seat sliders with those seats it shouldn't be too hard, you may have to make brackets to raise them up a bit. I'm still figuring my seat mounts out. I've tried a couple different ways and haven't like either of them yet. Mines a bit different though, I have a full sub-frame race chassis from the torsion bars back to the tail panel and my sub-frame connectors run right under the seats and come through the floor pan about 3 inches tall. So my seats "straddle the connectors making it a little harder to get them to sit where I want them...
