Can anyone tell me the dates and cars for which mopar sbp 14-inch, 5.5-inch width steelies were produced? I have been trying to get a couple and many people mistake the 4.5s for 5.5s. I have 2 and I need 2 more.
Thanks

I believe they started with the 65 model year, when the Formula S cars were first offered with disc brakes! I've also traded for a set that was on a 1971 Dart slant 6 car, so they were made as late as 71! They could be had on any A body model!

Thanks for the info. What year did mopar start putting discs on? I have a couple of 340 #'s matching A-Bodies with ralleys and want to go steelies. I have 2 extra 5.5 steelies that are stamped
"jj and can"... etc. I am trying to get correct on my 69 dart Swinger 4-spd 340. Any info on what all the factory stamps mean? Hammitrack and what not? Thanks.

It goes by brake size. 9 inch brake cars came with 4.5, 10 inch and disc came with 5.5.

Incorrect statement!
My 1967 Barracuda Commando 273 4 speed non-Formula S came with 14" X 4-1/2" wheels and 10" brakes all around. In 1969 I went to a dealer and bought new 5-1/2" Formula S wheels. They were standard equipment on Formula S cars and I believe those ordered with HD suspension.
