My '66 Barracuda doesn't have this part, does yours????

Yes! Every '66 Barracuda should have that attached to instrument panel bezel on the internal side.
You would need to remove the bezel from your dash to see it.

Were these on 65 models. I don't see one

Mine is lighted also !!!!
wish my 68 fastback had one. I`m used to the new cars, everytime I get in the fish, I have to hunt the darn switch. thinking of putting an led on it or something. need to figure a way for it to come on when I open the door. thinking l could hook it up to the interior lights, but would go off when the door is shut.
any ideas out there ?

Hook it up to the door switch and install an inline delay switch, these delay switches are super cheap on ebay. There are many that are adjustable so that you can set the switch for 5 to 30 second shut off delay.
Easy and simple!!

I have 2 @ 66' Barracudas in my shop right now. A slant six car and a formula s car and neither has it. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. Anyone have a picture of it?

Just had my '66 out cruising last night and nothing is lit around/behind the ignition bezel. I've had my ignition and instrument panel apart a few times and never remember seeing it.

That is some scary oil pressure

Mine does not have it. I wonder if this was a mid-year production change? My car is an August 1965 no fish 66
