Thanks guys, my Dad bought a 73 dart sport, chassis car called the tazmanian express and this valiant. He cut the chassis and cage down the middle, sucked it in three inches, then moved the front wheel wells forward about three inches in order to get the valiant body to fit. He campaigned it with a 499 running a best of 9.88 until his passing in 2014. Since then I've pulled the 499 and replaced it my aluminum 528 and sold my charger. It was over 500 lbs. heavier and ran a best of 9.77, so it oughta be pretty quick but this motor lost 500 lbs and wants more fuel than my 1250 can give it, so i haven't gotten a clean pass yet.

I'm sorry for your loss.

The car is really insane. I like the look of it and it should run it's *** off with the new setup. I know it's a race car, but is it on the street also? Tagged? Either way,..Badass!!!

64-65 valiants have got to be the cleanest looking old car ever built. jmo -- I want a wagon.

I agree- my first Mopar was a 65 100 with Commando and 4 speed. This one is my keeper AZ car with 273 Commando clone- waiting in line for 340 that will be disguised as 273. Has SSBC manual discs and 3.71 8 3/4 rear so far
Gotta sell the 76 True Spirit and the 65 convertible with 273/4 speed and a/c first to finish
