14" Trim Rings

-
What size 14's do you have?
I just went through this. I have 14x7 rear and 14x6 up front.
I ended up going with polished stainless 3" wide rings in the rear and polished stainless 2.5" up front. They both have a stepped edge and a hole cutout for the valve stem rather than the Chevy horseshoe cutout.

I gotta check but i believe 6s all around.
Would you have any close up shots if the rings ? also where did you purchase yours from ?

Would those trim rings work with regular steelies?

14"x 6" would have to be a aftermarket wheel.
Stock Rallyes are 5.5"

I believe 5.5s are considered 6s

If you are talking about factory Rallye wheels, then you are incorrect.

Factory Rallyes are 5.5". No ifs ands or butts.

That's why I posted my concerns. Ask them if they will fit a 5.5" rim.
If they do,your in.

Pics as promised....
My fronts are factory 14x5.5, my rears are 14x7.
I went with polished trim rings with a stepped edge since they are close to factory but polished. I would have gone with the original brushed ones, but they only make a polished 3" wide trim ring for my rear wheels.

$100 for set of 4, I bought only 2 because I purchased 2 14x7 (3"wide) at Carlisle from Laysons for $100 FOR TWO.....

I'll snap a pic and post it tomorrow.

So this is what you bought for your front (14 x 5.5) sku (4483)? Nice car by the way! I have a 75' Scamp Brougham I'm working on. I need 4 and I certainly like the way they look on your car & the price. Also, the best place to get new Acorn center caps? P&G Industries is the cheapest I've found? Thanks, Woody

Hi Woody,
Thanks! Yep, those are the rings I have on the factory Rallyes on the front. I bought the acorn centers on ebay, they were NOS - but not sicko expensive.

There is a 14x6" Rallye listed for 72 and up cars, but it is a LBP! I have a few around here!

LBP Acorn centers are what I'm looking for. I was looking to buy new ones, but I'll take a look at what you have. PM me a picture if you can. Buy the way, I love the looks of your cuda's!

Harry, I think I'm going to order (4) for my car. I have 4 rims at (14 x 5.5) and 1 at (14 x 6). I am also thinking of trying to find another 6" rim for the back of the car, for a little bigger tire but I don't know? I didn't see in this thread the size of your tires? Can you let me know what you're running? Thanks, Woody

Just wondering what size rear tire your running. Thanks.
