About a month ago I picked up this '70 swinger that was about to be scrapped. It's originally an fj5 car (not sure how rare that is) with a 318/904 combo. It was partially stripped down by a bad body shop and many parts were lost. The roof is completely rotten, and just about every panel has rust and bondo. Motor is a rebuild with unknown miles, but it runs well and doesn't leak. Whole car drives nicely. Been scavenging the forum here and my local Craigslist for parts, and I have just about everything I need to get it done. However, being a freshman in college, a full resto is out of the picture right now. Just looking make it a nice driver. Haven't done anything like this before, but I'm looking forward to the adventure!
 
Nice save on the swinger! Looks like you need some rocker moldings! Lol. This is Cory. Let me know if you're still interested and nice job getting the car!!
 
318/904 was pretty common. 340/4speed is the money car.
 
Nice save! Little by little the car will take shape.... since a full resto is not possible now, just do small jobs on it over time and it will look good.
