Hi all,

I am new to the forum. My wife and I are looking to make some improvements to her 1970 Dart Swinger so I figured I would enlist the expertise of the forum if possible.

I have a few things I need to take care of and wanted to see if you guys could help.

I need to replace/fix the interior wiring. The car is a slant 6 with a column. Where is the best place to get a replacement harness or a wiring diagram?

I also have to get an interior kit and new seat foam, etc as the interior is in desperate need of help.

Finally, I wanted to switch it over to disk brakes in the front. The car has the small wheel pattern (I am pretty sure I remember there being 2 different sizes that came on the cars) and I wanted to see if they made a disc brake kit that fit those wheels so I wouldnt have to buy a new set of wheels.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

:welcome: to the fray - everything you mention is 100% doable. Personally, I would search out (Google) an aftermarket wiring harness.. messing with a 50 year old harness can be sketchy... gut it and install all new. The interior - Google it of course, but Legendary Interiors comes to mind. The brakes - yes, there are two different bolt patterns - so you want to stay small bolt pattern and have disc brakes.. others will chime in here - I am fairly sure that that is also doable... again, some time spent with Google is a good idea. And/or - start a new thread on here asking for help with that specific thing... TONS of good people with 10 tons of know how!

I used the SSBC kit for my '71 Dart GT. It allowed me to keep my (14" X 5 1/2") small bolt pattern Rallye Wheels. The kit was very complete and allowed me to complete the swap on a Saturday with no special tools (all done with hand tools). It was expensive (~$830) but I didn't have to search and search for parts. I ordered my kit from Mancini Racing (other places may be cheaper).

Good Luck and welcome aboard!
